The Range Rover SVAutobiography is Land Rover's new flagship vehicle, and is making its debut at the 2015 New York International Auto Show. Developed by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations, this high-end model is being touted as "the most luxurious and powerful series-production Range Rover in the model’s successful 45-year history."
The vehicle is powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine throwing up 502 pounds-feet of torque. The engine boasts a 40 horsepower advantage over its predecessor thanks to a Bosch engine management system.
The Range Rover SVAutobiography is equipped with a ZF eight-speed flappy-paddle gearbox for silky smooth gear changes. This system uses adaptive-shift logic which adjusts to the driver's behavior.
The vehicle's boxy design, supercharged engine and overall high performance specs make it well suited towards the auto enthusiast who values substance over flash.
