In the wake of climate change, many large brands are stepping up to reduce their environmental impact, and fashion luxury house Ralph Lauren is no exception.
The upscale fashion retailer committed to power its stores, distribution centers, and offices using 100% renewable energy by 2025. In addition to these sustainability pledges, Ralph Lauren also joined E100, a leader and one of the most influential businesses committed to the use of renewable power.
“A world that is beautiful and cared for is the ultimate luxury, and we have a role to play in protecting it by addressing our impacts and creating a more sustainable future” Ralph Lauren’s chief executive Patrice Louvet said in a statement. “Today, we strengthen our commitment to address climate change, one of the biggest challenges facing our world, by joining the movement of companies driving the adoption of renewable energy and affirming our support for the Paris Agreement.”
