This rainbow burger from Joe's Bar NYC are making news thanks to their multi-color buns. The Upper West Side eatery announced their rainbow brioche burger buns two weeks ago for ticketed event Burger Week. They have been featured on a number of American media outlets since.

This follows a surge of recent rainbow-hued foods, including savory rainbow bagels, pizzas and grilled cheese sandwiches. Likely made with clever food coloring, the brioche buns have never made a cheeseburger look so good. Unfortunately, it would appear the rainbow burgers were a one-time thing, making them as rare and beautiful as rainbows in real life.

While rainbow foods are currently popular, they likely will not last as today's generation tires quicker than ever of viral fads.
