The iHeartRadio Family App is a Dedicated Radio for Kids

As an extension of the iHeartRadio brand, the standalone iHeartRadio Family app was launched to provide a suitable stream of radio for kids.

The app was launched in partnership with the Build-A-Bear Workshop, featuring content that's directed at young audiences between the ages of four to 11. Some of the channels that can be accessed through the app include Radio Disney Junior, Build-A-Bear Workshop Radio and more. The curated selection of kid-friendly music on the app is free to access.

The iHeartRadio Family app is in line with many media companies that are now making the effort to better tailor content to children. For instance, this movement was introduced with other leading examples like the Vine Kids and YouTube Kids apps.
