Mitsubishi Motors recently released plans for a rally car that it plans to complete in 2025. Huh? Now that’s planning!
The Mitsubishi MMR25, as they’re calling it, features an omnidirectional wheel design--that means that it can go sideways--where each wheel has an electric motor with an additional eight supplemental motors for each wheel.
To make up for the weight of all those motors, Mitsubishi got rid of the glass windows for the MMR25. Instead, the driver will see via video cameras.
