The 'Quilt' Mesh Network Aids Users in Locating Help

Emergency situations can sometimes lead conventional network and telecommunication services to go offline when they're needed most, which is something the 'Quilt' mesh network is intended to change.

The ad-hoc mesh network works through the accompanying Quilt App and the Quilt Beacon in order to support those who are more vulnerable in our population. In the event of an emergency, the Beacon can communicate with users and help them to locate nearby assistance, if required; available users can volunteer their help and send a message to let the person(s) know they are on the way.

The 'Quilt' mesh network has been conceptualized by New Deal Design and comes as an effective solution for the future to help support those who need it most.
