Pumpkin Pie Kit Kats are Returning for Halloween 2019

Pumpkin spice season is just around the corner and Hershey's is already preparing by announcing the return of Pumpkin Pie Kit Kats. Though many have predicted the decline of pumpkin's popularity, it appears that the autumnal spice is just as popular as ever.

The new Pumpkin Pie Kit Kats are described as "crispy wafers in a pumpkin pie flavored crème." Hershey's is positioning the treats as more pie-flavored than bursting with pumpkin spice, meaning they pack a more subtle pumpkin punch. To hammer home the pumpkin theme, each individually packaged Kit Kat piece is decorated to look like a little orange cartoon character, complete with sunglasses and gourd-inspired hair cut.

While the treats aren't available quite yet, it's only a matter of time before Halloween candies start hitting store shelves.
