Stone Island recently revealed its highly limited Prototype Research_Series, and this marks the technical label's third installment for the series. The Prototype Research_Series was first launched back in 2016, and its latest drop is exclusively limited to only 100 pieces. The new range is constructed with a blend of four different polyamide-based canvas fabric materials, which are treated with a dyeing process that takes place in high temperatures. This allows for the garments to be colored, shrunk, and the four layers to compact together.
So far, the third Prototype Research_Series are not industrialized yet, which is why the garments are so limited. This annual collection dials in on full jumpsuits, showcasing two different styles at the recent Milan Design Week installation.
