Dior and Stone Island Join on a Special Collaboration

Dior and Stone Island join forces on a special collaboration that highlights both of their heritage simultaneously. Creative director of Dior Kim Jones explains that it was a natural choice. Jones explains, “The Dior and Stone Island capsule collection is a meeting between Mr. Dior and Massimo Osti. They both were ‘obsessives’ and the archives of the brands are amazing. It is a mix from an haute couture vision to that of military functionality."

The collection is comprised of clothing, shoes, and accessories -- all of this is set to launch sometime in the middle of the year. It highlights handcrafted items that explore technicalities such as color experimentation, embroidery, garment-dye techniques, and much more. It also spotlights the signature Raso Gommato material with patch leather instead of rubber.
