Project Tango Google Hopes to Create a Better Mapping System

Sometimes you see or hear about a piece technology that sounds like it’s almost magic, and if it’s not then it won’t exist until some imagined far off future; that’s how I feel about Project Tango.
Project Tango is a new initiative from Google. The brand already built a prototype device that is ready to enter the hands of developers. With the technology in this new Android phone, it’ll be able to learn the exact dimensions of whatever room you’re in. The goal is that Google will be able to give precise directions anywhere. More than that however, I’m more excited about what developers will be able to create with this technology.
Though Google insists that Project Tango is still in the early stages of development, it appears that it already made significant progress.
