'NCSOFT,' a global game developer and publisher known for its Massively-Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs) such as 'Lineage' and 'Blade & Soul,' has announced its first real-time strategy game, 'Project G.' The game is being developed in Unreal Engine and will be released for PC and mobile platforms worldwide.
Project G is set in a fictional world called Pangaea, where different factions are engaged in a large-scale war for resources and territory. The game will feature massive battles with hundreds of units on screen, as well as strategic elements such as base building, resource management, and air and naval support. NCSOFT is referring to this title as an 'MMORTS,' marking one of the first in the genre.
The game's trailer shows off some of the game's visuals and gameplay mechanics, such as zooming in and out of the battlefield, commanding various types of units, and unleashing powerful abilities. The trailer also hints at some of the game's lore and story elements.
