Hypemasters Raised $3.25 Million to Bring World War Armies to Mobile

'Hypemasters,' the mobile game development studio, recently raised $3.25 million USD to fund its inaugural game, 'World War Armies.' This is a real-time strategy (RTS) game set during World War II. However, Hypemasters stated that it will "go its own way, not copying other successful games." The company explained that it wants its game to be meaningful and capture the magic of a real PC-based RTS game on the mobile platform.

The World War Armies game is marketed as a "true RTS" designed for fans of popular RTS games such as 'Command & Conquer' and 'Starcraft II.' The World War Armies title is currently available to play in an open beta testing phase and is scheduled for a full release later this year following final patches and refinement. Hypemasters is expected to support the game for a prolonged amount of time with new content and updates.
