Samsung is extending Privacy Display to the Galaxy S27 Pro, letting the screen dim for people viewing it from the side while keeping it clearer for the person holding the phone. The feature was previously limited to the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and the Pro model is expected to bring that same privacy tool into a more compact flagship.
The S27 Pro is also said to match the Ultra on cameras while skipping S Pen support, which helps separate the models without changing the core imaging setup. Samsung is reportedly preparing 700,000 of the new display units in November, suggesting the company is lining up a wider rollout of the privacy screen.
At a reported $1,399 starting price, the Pro narrows the gap to the Ultra while keeping the privacy display feature in reach of buyers who do not want the larger phone. It also makes screen privacy a clearer selling point in the flagship tier, where display features increasingly help justify price differences.
