When strangers step in to provide a helping hand, Vale directs his very pregnant wife to lift one end. It’s nice to see that in most cases, the good samaritans, both men and women, take a stand against letting the pregnant lady from doing any strenuous work.
Vale speaks over top of his wife, insisting that she is capable of handing the heavy rug herself. In one case, a woman cries out to another passer-by for help, since Vale is being so unbelievably inconsiderate.
