The Prada Minimal-Baroque glasses have been making a splash since their debut in the Prada Spring/Summer collection.
Instead of staging a photo shoot to showcase the glasses, Prada enlisted three illustrators to create a series incorporating the glasses. The results are flawless. The illustrations create the high-fashion feel for which Prada is known and maintain the Prada Minimal-Baroque aesthetic. Illustrators Ivo Bisignano, Marcela Gutierrez and Andrea Tarella created the perfect drawings to showcase the glasses.
The illustrators used watercolor and pencil to illustrate the images for the campaign, a technique that translates well, as sketching is an important part of the design process in fashion.
