The Powerball lottery has just gotten larger. All you need are the winning numbers to win a whopping $195 million jackpot and you can turn your recession woes into cold hard cash (and then burn it just for fun).
While the hopes of many are high, the chances of reaping the rewards of the Powerball lottery are exceedingly low. $195 million is a gambler’s wet dream and temptation to buy is almost inevitable, regardless if you are a Powerball player or not.
The recession does not seem to be hurting sales for Powerball and while it is nice to have hope during times of economic despair, I think gambling may become a dangerous place to misplace that hope.
