The snack starts off with the brand's signature popped potato recipe that features 50% less fat than fried chips, while also being Non-GMO Project Verified, certified gluten-free and vegan-friendly. The snack is covered with a sweet, spicy seasoning that offers a balance between the two tastes that doesn't fall too far onto either side.

The popchips Sweet Heat snack product is headed to more than 2,700 Kroger and Kroger banner retailers this April, and targeted the product category focused on indulgence and health consciousness.
