Part of the Polk Heritage Collection, it encompasses everything that the audio tech company has learned throughout their entire duration in the industry. An impressive feat to say the least, the design of the Polk Hampden Speakers was nevertheless left up to a competition, which was won by Cameron Nielsen.
According to Michael DiTullo, the Chief Design Officer at Sound United, Polk's parent company, "He captured the metaphor of a classic pair of Polk speakers purpose build for modern listening." With a wooden cabinet covered in bent teak veneer, glass-filled nylon bezels, silk dome tweeters and polypropylene woofers with rubber, the Polk Hampden Speakers is perfect for office and home desktops.
