These Mini Pokémon Models Celebrate the Franchise's 20th Anniversary

3D Hubs recently teamed up with designer Agustin Flowalistik to create a whole new collection of mini Pokémon models. Since its debut as a video game 20 years ago, the Pokémon franchise has expanded to include films, TV shows, trading cards and a plethora of merchandise. Now the famed anime characters are getting a modern makeover with the help of 3D printing technology.

To celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary, 3D Hubs is releasing a line of mini Pokémon models. The collection features a low-poly look that was specially designed by Flowalistik. As Flowalistik explains, "I wanted to try to transform the low-quality graphics the first Pokémon video games had into a 3D model." As a result, the anime characters feature a unique design that is distinct from that of other Pokémon collectibles.
