McDonald's and McCafé® Locations in France are Now PokéStops

In celebration of the re-launch of the Pokémon Happy Meals at McDonald’s, the franchise’s France locations will be activated as new PokéStops within the Pokémon Go app. Starting Aug 22, 2022, McCafé locations will also become Arenas. This implies that you can eat a meal while engaging in combat, catching some Pokémon, or collecting supplies for your Pokémon backpack. McDonald’s will also host raids at specific hours communicated by McDonald’s at the McCafé locations.

“Your favorite McDonald’s™ restaurants will become c and McCafé® locations will become Gyms. Now you can enjoy a delicious meal with your friends and catch new Pokémon, all at the same time!”

There is no word yet on whether worldwide McDonald’s locations will also be partaking in this event, but fans of the franchise that are based in France can head to their local restaurants to collect all of their favorite Pokémon GO items.
