Plug Me Takes Influence from Classic Platformers But Offers a New Twist

Taking design cues from classic platformers like Super Mario Bros., Plug Me is a whimsically designed game that uses a strict timer system to challenge players. The use of a timer is meant to force players to think faster and make quick decisions, but the timer within the game is also a physical presence that must be interacted with to progress through levels.

The various levels in Plug Me appear to be standard platformer fare, with players having to dodge traps, leap over pits, balance on pillars and avoid environmental obstacles. The timing bar will also play a big role in the game, as it must be minded as both a physical presence as well as a countdown to failure.

The developers behind Plug Me have acknowledged the challenge in its game, so they have introduced certain mechanics to keep players from losing their temper. After multiple failed attempts, players can remove a single obstacle; if players keep failing, the game's timer will slow down.
