Connected Meeting Recording Earbuds

Plaud Unveiled Its Plaud One Earbuds with LTE Transcription

Plaud introduced the Plaud One, a pair of earbuds designed to record and transcribe in-person and online meetings, featuring an LTE-enabled charging case that connects directly to Plaud’s cloud services without requiring a phone. Each earbud includes 16MB of local storage, while the case provides 512MB and cellular connectivity across more than 80 countries and regions.

The system can capture audio from services such as Google Meet and Zoom and offers Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint support, LDAC and SBC codecs, active noise cancellation and IP54 dust and splash resistance. Users can activate Plaud’s AI assistant through a wake phrase or dedicated case button. A $250 Explorer Edition includes complimentary Plaud tokens, while transcription and agent features are tied to usage-based plans.

For professionals, Plaud One combines mobile recording, transcription, summarization and AI-assisted follow-up in a wearable format, reducing dependence on a phone during meetings and conversations.
