Reusable Platen Cleaner Devices

C&T Matrix Introduced Its Platen Cleaner Solution

C&T Matrix introduced a reusable Platen Cleaner designed to remove contamination from die-cutting platen surfaces and help converters maintain consistent machine performance. The device targets common buildup including carton board dust, oil residue, oxidation and rust without compromising platen integrity.

Only the cleaning pads need to be replaced, allowing the main device to be reused as part of regular maintenance. C&T Matrix says the solution can help restore platens to a cleaner, smoother working condition while reducing downtime and improving productivity. It can also be used with an endoscope camera probe to give operators greater visibility during cleaning.

For converters, the Platen Cleaner offers a practical way to address platen contamination before it affects die-cutting quality or causes stoppages. Its reusable format also supports more efficient maintenance routines by reducing reliance on fully disposable cleaning tools.
