The Planters Special Reserve peanuts are arriving in celebration of National Peanut Day -- September 13 -- to provide consumers with an elevated take on the simple snack.

The limited-edition product consists of peanuts specially grown by the brand on less than 150 acres in Virginia, and have a larger size than standard peanuts while also having a naturally reddish skin. The peanuts are hand-cooked to achieve the perfect level of crunch, creaminess and saltiness in every bite, according to the brand. The product will be available via a special website priced at $19.06 -- a nod to the brand's founding year -- but only while supplies last on National Peanut Day.
