Edible City Maps

The Atelier Food Project by PJADAD Design is Made from Groceries

This creative project by Swedish firm PJADAD Design features an intricate city grid map made from edible items. The map sure is pretty to look at, but be careful, it may give you the munchies. The project features slices of onions, slabs of meat and blocks of cheese places on colorful blocks in this geometric city map.

The Stockholm-based designers of this quirky project say the images represent the "connection between food and society." The intricately executed images were created as a collaboration between a chef, an art director and a photographer.

Atelier Food is a restaurant based in Sweden that strives to solve problems of "sustainability, energy, culture, urban development and transportation," as it states on the company site, through this eye-catching project and a series of workshops being run in Swedish stores.
