With this, consumers don't even have to divert from their televisions to get a savory meal sent to their door, as the Apple TV pizza service allows them to customize, order and pay. As TechCrunch reports, "The new app is actually the first-ever from a quick serve restaurant or pizza company to arrive on the Apple TV platform, having surprisingly beat out Domino’s."
In creating a pizza service that's streamlined for Apple TV users, Papa John's hopes to increase its profits by creating more efficiency in ordering and therefore more consumer interest. In order to increase the likelihood that consumers use the app, the company has made its download completely free of charge.
