Forced to spend time apart from loved ones, people are craving life's simple joys, like sharing a meal in good company and Virgin Media is acknowledging this with its unique pizza pop-ups. To emphasize the importance of connectedness, Virgin Media linked up a pair of pizza pop-ups 400 miles apart and gave people the chance to share a meal with someone special from afar.
Powered by hologram technology, the experience lets pizza lovers sit at the "same" table to enjoy a real slice. The experience involves a life-sized, 3D, 4K display so that diners can interact in real-time with one another. The Two Hearts Pizzaria was open for just two short days in South Bank, London and Castle Street, Edinburgh.
