This French Artist Creates Adorable Pixel Superheroes

A French designer known as 'Tibo' has been creating images of pixel superheroes that reimagine iconic characters from pop culture.

His subjects vary, however each has a well-known appearance that allows Tibo's pixelated art to be as minimalist as possible. His work includes superheros and villains like Batman, Iron Man, Captain America, Wolverine and Darth Vader. Also notable are his renditions of Woody from 'Toy Story' and the video game character Mario.

Tibo is said to create his pixel superheroes using a website called 'Stickaz,' which was created by himself and a few colleagues. His collection of the simplistic superheroes has been deemed the 'Mini-Heroes' -- with the appearance of the pieces making them look like costumed toddlers.
