The Corknet pot holder is a weirdly useful cork pot holder that also doubles as a ping pong net. Dining tables often work well as improvised ping-pong tables, the only problem being that you don't always have a net to erect on it.
This is where the Corknet pot holder comes in. It consists of a pair of triangular cork pieces that can be stacked together to form a level platform on which you can rest hot pans and dishes without damaging table tops. Once dinner's done and you're ready to bust out your ping pong chops, simply separate the cork wedges and stand them side-by-side in the center of your table. There you have it, your very own cork ping pong net.
The developers of the Corknet pot holder are running a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for production of their nifty little invention. A pledge of $33 will secure you one Corknet if and when it comes to fruition.
