The Pimkie Color Forecast Lists the Trendiest Hues of the Day

The Pimkie Color Forecast makes it easy to decide what to wear in the morning by suggesting what color palettes are trending in some of the fashion capitals of the world.

Using shade tracking software developed by Pedro Cruz, a daily list of the most popular color selections made by trendsetters in Milan, Paris and Antwerp is generated. High Definition cameras set up in the three European cities feed images of people passing by to mini Mac computers in real-time and then the system sorts the data and analyses which pigments are worn most frequently.

Whatever is trending that day is then listed on the Pimkie website, and a sample of pieces in the applicable shade are suggested. While the site suggests the most popular color by default, it also lists two other popular colors of the day as well as hues that have been trending in the past.
