Nintendo and Niantic Join Forces on the Pikmin Finder Game

Nintendo works together with Niantic on a new Pikmin mobile game dubbed the Pikmin Finder. It is meant to help users pass time than to offer a challenge for a more relaxed and tranquil experience. It launches just in time for the Nintendo Live event that is happening in Seattle and can be accessed from any mobile or browser.
The Augmented Reality feature works on both mediums. Similar to the previous Pikmin Bloom, the game sees Pikmin digitally right in any environment through the phone's camera. The creatures can be picked up by swiping on the phone and notably, there is usually more of the same color around when one is spotted. Other items can be searched for as well including cakes and rubber ducks.
