Born in Palermo, Italy, Pietro D'Angelo usually creates sculptures of ordinary people or reproductions of classic works of art. By venturing into the Mushroom Kingdom in search of some muses, the Italian artist was certainly not disappointed. In total, Pietro D'Angelo has rendered such iconic video game imagery as a Super Mushroom, Koopa Troopa, warp pipe and, of course, the man himself, Super Mario.
