Titled 'Phenomenon,' this neon light shines a psychedelic blue hue to create a futuristic and science fiction feeling. In one section of the lamp, the designer added a clear sphere that allows the viewer to view the light source through a clear window.
Pieke Bergmans took advantage of the consistency in the size of the tube diameter, which allowed him to "create organically-shaped vessels to see how the light was affected when more widely dispersed." This project began as a way to satisfy the artist's curiosity, but it quickly developed into a unique experiment with neon light.
