Trend Hunter favorite, Iranian artist Ashkan Sahihi, is never one to have a boring or typical art direction for his photography projects. From kissing strangers to aggressive screaming, to say that the man’s method is unorthodox is an understatement.
Sahihi’s "Face" series follows in that tradition with a quirky concept of exploring the human face in a way that almost borders on sadistic torture.
Wearing white plastic gloves, Sahihi stretches and distortes the features of the model’s face while capturing the photograph.
Check out the fascinating, if at times disturbing, images in the gallery and more of Sahihi’s work below.
