Nutritious Food Maps

Photographer Henry Hargreaves and Caitlin Levin Created These Maps

Recently photographer Henry Hargreaves teamed up with food stylist Caitlin Levin to create a series of maps depicting countries around the world. These unusual maps have been made out of food, and the types of food used depend on the countries being depicted. India, for example, has been recreated using various spices and the map of the United States has been made using lots of corn (among other things).

This edible map series is visually interesting, as well as informative. Hargreaves takes geography and culture and turns them into art. He and Levin created a video to show viewers exactly how these nutritious maps were put together.

This imaginative art series reminds observers that all countries have something to offer (especially in terms of delicious food).
