Phoebe Philo is a name that is no stranger to the fashion industry and she now launches her own brand, kicked off by its inaugural collection. She has strong experience having worked as the creative director of Chloé and Celine before announcing her plans to start her own namesake brand in 2021.

It was important to Philo to position fashion as something that enhances what already exists for wearers, not as a means to overshadow any one person's identity. The company notes on its website that “Our first step has been to understand the importance of overall impact throughout the process of creating and delivering fashion. This has shaped our focus on the key areas of overconsumption, waste, and the supply chain.”
