Fans of Philly cheesesteak, a sandwich that consists of thinly sliced steak and layers of gooey melted cheese, are sure to appreciate the new sneakers that were collaboratively designed by Diabora and UBIQ.
Inspired by the sandwich's ingredients, the colorway consists of hues of brown, beige and yellow. These swap back and forth throughout the entirety of the leather uppers, making for a unique appearance that's surprisingly versatile. For the Philly cheesesteak model, Diadora adapted its popular N.9000 silhouette, meaning that the sneakers are both comfortable and durable.
Dubbed the 'Wiz Wit,' the collaborative design launched on January 28th at UBIQ's Georgetown and Philadelphia locations. When consumers purchase the sneakers, they're invited to do so "in the same manner that they’d buy their favorite style of cheesesteak." This enhanced experience means that they'll walk away with their sneakers in a take-out bag -- with sides of laces, plastic cutlery and more included.
