Personalized Search Engine Feeds

Google Announced Personalized Updates to its Homepage

Google has announced that it will begin to offer a personalized search engine feed in the first makeover it has made to its homepage since 1992.

In a rollout that will happen over the next few weeks, Google will start to offer a personalized newsfeed that has been streamlined to be relevant to individual preferences.

This personalized search engine feed will direct relevant news stories to one's homepage, show topics that are trending locally and around the world and let users follow films, sports or other topics of importance. Google's new algorithm will also reduce fake news stories and aim to provide a variation of content to broaden individual scope. The changes hope to create a program that "grows with you" by adjusting and tailoring content to individual preferences.
