Pedigree Shelter Sunday Helps Adoptable Pets Find Homes

Black Friday and all the major sales that surround it will be happening soon and Pedigree is on a mission to turn one of the largest shopping weekends into one of "the most adoptable weekends" with Pedigree Shelter Sunday. In honor of the Pedigree Foundation's 15th birthday of giving grants to help dogs find loving homes, Pedigree will be reimbursing adoption fees on Shelter Sunday.

Pets bring a multitude of benefits to the household, including companionship, stress reduction and enhanced overall well-being, making them members of the family that are not only highly valued but also deeply cherished. Although interest in pet adoption has risen since 2021, the number of stray pets arriving at shelters has increased 26% since 2021 and Pedigree Shelter Sunday brings awareness—and provides a potential solution—to overcrowding and capacity challenges.
