Anytime I've been on a bike with four people pedaling, at least two are just loafing along. Add beer to the mix and this Pedal Pub isn't going to go far or fast. After starting in Germany and the Netherlands, it is now in the U.S. 16 people can ride, with five pedaling seats and the driver.
Implications - An innovation like this is not only a fun novelty, but a foray into the world of portable services. If bars and pubs can be mobile, there's no telling what other types of businesses can transferred onto wheels as well. With a growing consumer desire for convenience, it won't be long before everything from restaurants to beauty counters has a moving option.
