This Peanuts Packaging Design is Cartoony and Scandinavian-Inspired

Created by graphic designer Kristina Ivanova, this peanuts packaging design is playful while remaining eye-catching and clever. The packaging design was created by Ivanova for the Old Viking, a peanuts brand in Belarus.

The surly cartoon characters on each package in the range offer a story about what flavor is contained inside while remaining cohesive with the rest of the brand. Drawing on traditional Nordic imagery, Ivanova injects each design with a dose of youthful vitality.

For prawn flavor, a pink sail on a Viking ship denotes the oceanic connection, while the regular flavor features a Viking brandishing a seriously ferocious beard. There is also a wasabi peanut variety that is denoted by a colorful fire-breathing dragon.
