Peanut Isolate Mix-Ins

Scoops Turns Peanut Butter Into a Plant-Based Protein Powder at Target

Scoops turned a peanut-butter idea into a plant-based protein powder built around a new peanut isolate, giving shoppers a way to add peanut flavor and more protein without eating peanut butter straight from the jar. The product debuted on Target shelves in May.

The powder is easier to stir into smoothies, overnight oats, and cookies, and the formula contains 75% fewer calories and 95% less fat than peanut butter. Those numbers make the switch from a spoonable spread to a mix-in format feel more practical for people who want the same flavor in a lighter form.

Target's more than 1,100 doors gave the brand scale quickly, and the 11-week end cap helped keep it visible while it was still building awareness. That retail setup turns a niche protein concept into a mainstream CPG test, where velocity matters as much as the formulation itself.
