Trader Joe's has taken its classic Brookie formula and kicked it up a notch with the creation of the new Peanut Butter Brookie.
For those who have not tried the original Brookie, this hybrid dessert combined a layer of rich brownies on the bottom and a layer of chocolate chip cookies on top. The new Peanut Butter Brookie features the same layered dessert format, but with a slight twist. This dessert features a layer of fudgy brownie batter on the bottom and then tops it with a layer of sweet peanut butter cookie batter studded with chopped-up peanuts. After baking, the whole thing is topped with a little bit of flaky sea salt to deliver that classic salted peanut butter flavor.
