Peak Design has launched a Kickstarter campaign to seek funding for its two latest camera-carrying tools -- Slide, a camera strap that can be worn on the shoulder, neck or as a sling, and Clutch, a quick-adjusting hand strap.
Neck straps are often quite uncomfortable, and this is what prompted the design of the Slide strap. It can be easily adjusted to be worn comfortably as a neck, sling or shoulder strap. It is crafted out of tubular seatbelt-style material with EVA foam padding, making it both secure and comfortable.
The Clutch strap is designed to address some of the other common problems posed by camera hand straps, namely their bulkiness and lack of style. This strap consists of a Hypalon hand strap with a microfiber interior for increased comfort.
The Clutch and Slide straps can be procured from Peak Design in exchange for Kickstarter pledges of $30 and $50 respectively.
