Dan Yeffet designs the Patchwork Vessel collection, which is a limited-edition series for the brand Veronese. The capsule pushes boundaries in the realm of glass mastery and Veronese's creative director Ruben Jochimek noted the difficulty of the collection from the beginning of the project. The team spent a few months understanding the challenges and how to combat them before creating the series.
The main challenge was to determine the temperature where the fusion would happen between the molten glass patches and the base of the vessel without it having to break or melt. Jochimek explains, “This peak moment of collaboration was the most exciting part of this project for Veronese. Getting on the floor, side-by-side with the artisans we’ve worked with countless times, and experiencing with them the pressure and heat was a moment of pride. To know that Veronese has built such trusting relations with the artisans opens more doors for creativity to flourish even further.”
