The Hôtel du Continent is a gorgeous new Parisian hotel designed by French fashion designer Christian Lacroix, with each floor of the hotel based one of the world's continents.
One of the most prominent markers of global influence in the rooms is the use of maps as wall coverings, but other elements from each continent can also be seen in Lacroix's fabric, color, wallpaper and fixture choices. Rooms on the Africa-inspired floor for example, feature luxurious zebra and earthy tribal prints. There's even a floor dedicated to Antarctica, but judging from the other rooms, the design would be warm and welcoming.
The Parisian Hôtel du Continent has a total of 25 unique rooms, with three different sizes available that range from about $170 - $542 per night.
