The Para Clocks by LeeLABS are Durably Delicate

The Para Clocks may look too delicate and intricate to be made out of concrete, but there can be no denying the fact that they are. The creators, LeeLABS, use a parametric modeling algorithm to form the pretty radial patterns of each wall clock. As unique as a snowflake, the Para Clocks are both sculptural and practical.

A design project that relies heavily on crowdsourcing, Para Clocks is currently on Kickstarter in the hopes of raising a realistic goal of $5,000. The Para Clocks can also be created via the design savviness of the masses. Although the original clocks are inspired by architecture and textiles from around the world, the public could bring in a whole new flavor.
