Breakfast Chain Fundraising Initiatives

Sunset Grill’s Pancake Tuesday fundraiser is returning

Sunset Grill’s Pancake Tuesday continues the brand's long-standing partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society. On March 4, 2025, patrons at all Sunset Grill locations in Ontario, Alberta, and New Brunswick can enjoy buttermilk pancakes for $2, with all proceeds going toward cancer research and support programs. Over the years, the initiative has raised more than $227,000, and this year’s campaign aims to generate an additional $50,000 to further assist those affected by cancer.

Sunset Grill’s Pancake Tuesday underscores the breakfast chain's commitment to community engagement. Bulk pre-orders are available for schools and organizations — a move that ensures widespread participation.

Given statistics that show that nearly half of Canadians will face a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, the fundraiser aligns with a cause that is sure to resonates broadly with breakfast lovers.
