Gin-Soaked Pickles

Pacific Pickle Works' Pickles Under the Ginfluence Has Gin & Juniper Berries

At the Summer Fancy Food Show, Pacific Pickle Works is introducing its Pickles Under the Ginfluence, a new kind of pickled vegetable product that draws inspiration from cocktail culture. True to the fact that juniper is the only botanical in all gins, the product features juniper berries alongside fresh dill, rosemary, jalapeno pepper and other spices.

Taking inspiration from popular beverages, a variety of pickled vegetables are now being launched with flavors that take after fruit punch or classic cocktails like the Bloody Mary.

Over the past few years, consumers have shown a preference for sour flavors, especially for their ability to enhance, balance or cut through other flavors that tangy ingredients are paired with.
