Virtual Game Customization Hubs

EA and Overwolf to Launch a New Hub to The Sims Creator Mods

EA works together with Overwolf on a special new hub for those who curate their own upgrades to The Sims. The Sims is no stranger to modifications as players have been updating their own upgrades and additional features since it first launched in 2001.

The new project will allow users to have access to a safe and moderated space to find new content and that existing mods to be updated regularly to new versions. Lyndsay Pearson, the VP of franchise creative for The Sims at EA states, "It's something we've been talking about for a long time [...] How can we recognize the creations of these creators and offer a safer way for the consumers to engage with the content?”
